HORS CONTEXTE : IL N’Y A PAS EU DE VIOLENTES TENSIONS LORS D’UN MANIFESTATION DU RDPC A BAMENDA LE 02 FÉVRIER 2025
Une vidéo Youtube largement partagée sur les fora WhatsApp a révélé que le dimanche 02 février 2025, il y a eu des tensions à Bamenda à la suite d’une manifestation du parti au pouvoir RDPC pour soutenir la candidature de Paul Biya à l’élection présidentielle. Le reportage prétend également qu’un poste de police a été incendié lors de la manifestation. Après vérification, cette information s’avère être hors contexte.
OUT OF CONTEXT: THERE WAS NO VIOLENT TENSIONS AGAINST A CPDM RALLY IN BAMENDA ON FEBRUARY 02, 2025
A Youtube video widely shared on WhatsApp forums published that on Sunday, February 02, 2025 there was tension in Bamenda following a meeting by the CPDM to back Biya’s candidacy for the presidential election. The report also claimed that a police station was burnt during the protest. After verification, this information turns out to be out of context.
